Mathew Fay
Ph.D. Geology
Mathew Fay has been working in the geosciences since 1996 and graduated from UBC with an Honours B.Sc. in Geology in 1999. Mat graduated from BCIT with an Environmental Engineering Technology degree in 2005 with a bronze medallion for outstanding achievement for his work on biologic air filtration systems. He has worked in hard rock mineral exploration, geotechnical engineering, environmental design and R&D, and petroleum and aqueous geochemistry. On-going and future plans include research and development into microbial systems and geo-engineering for in-situ heavy oil conversion to gas, and into rock-water-gas geochemical modeling related to gas injection, and gas and organic acid in-situ generation.
